A small win today, looking at the possibilities for long-term care. I reached out to the distributors at Autoimmune Therapies who have been treating people with natural Helminths—a priobiotic approach that I was aware of a decade ago when I first got sick, and that is being used for a whole host of autoimmune disorders including Crohn's. It's not FDA approved (because... well... you know how that goes). BUT you can still receive it.
Bad news is I'm barred from the trial studies because of my severe case history (boo, that's a super lame reason). Good news is, the company admires what I'm doing and is willing to work with me on the out-of-pocket expense (typical set-up is that you purchase 3 years of it up-front, which is a couple grand).
I won't start any of this until my Xiaolan protocol is through, which is beginning of March, and by that point I'm hopeful to have found a suitable US doctor to supervise my long-term care and help me decide what kind of test-lab to make my body into (**lets go ahead and say the natural kind).
Steps. Steps. One step at a time. Making progress. Changing everything.

Sarah
